Hello, world. My name is Jenn, I’m 22 and a recent graduate of Columbia University in the fabulous city of New York. I was born and raised in Vermont, and although I will probably never live there again, I am unflinchingly grateful to be a product of that environment. I am currently living in paradise, aka Costa Rica, teaching English and living the dream. My goal has always been to be a successful journalist, but I have also always wanted to travel the world. Faced with this stupendous economy, I will be traveling the world until further notice.
I originally started this blog as a hub for all the things I found interesting on the internet, rather than spamming my friends all day long. This usually evolves around current events and political news, but I also like to post things that I’ve written for various publications, and other random things I enjoy. As I am feeling self indulgent while abroad, and am also to lazy to keep up an e-mail rapport with all of my contacts, I occasionally blog about my experiences. The future format of this blog is uncertain, but most likely it will continue to be a mess of various things that I am randomly inspired to post.

Just happened on your website by Google search. It turned up your post that reprinted the NY Times article about the Page Program. I’m a former NBC intern too and I applied to be a Page. We should chat. Shoot me an e-mail.
